I'm interested (and signed up).

I'll also be curious to see how quickly the comments turn into "So this is what SD has been working on instead of 'fixing' DRM on their existing products."

In that case people are also likely going to be annoyed that SD is offering new products in the MDU/Hospitality and CDN broadcaster market segments (with a booth at NAB 2024 promoting their MDU and CDN solutions).

It is possible for a company to invest in new areas without impacting existing work and products. It is also possible that a new offering can distract or redirect the existing executives and teams from the previous products and priorities. It should always be acknowledged that success in any area (the old, or some new one) may be able to support investment in another product area, so most should hope for success in SD's product offerings.

Only time will tell where SD ends up, and what products they will be offering.

All I can say is that new talent was hired for this new product, and its existence did not take away from any progress regarding ATSC 3.0 DRM.

Fixed.

We were trying out a new email service but it seems Gmail doesn't like it.

Email service has been switched to Mailchimp which is well trusted.

Sorry about that...

I'm only guessing based on the logo/icon your graphic designer created.

It's wireless networking equipment.

My guess is cloud DVR based on nothing at all.

I'm guessing connectivity for people who like to fire and mold their own metal.

It's an underserved market.

I am guessing a new TUNER box/DVR with HDMI that connects to your TV...
