Stream Directly to Nest Hubs

So this is question is a little late seeing how the Superbowl is on right now, but is there a way to directly stream to a Nest Hub.

I have Home assistant, but it will transcode via ffmpeg which I don't think it needs to.

Is this possible?

The only way I know to cast to a Nest Hub is if you are using your HDHR tuner with Plex. It works, I've done it. But it requires a paid Plex subscription to unlock the casting feature.

But that still does transcoding I think.

I don't think it's necessary to transcode unless I am missing something.
