It sure sounds like you have a marginal signal on the problematic channels.

I'm guessing you are talking about the Las Vegas stations from the ATSC 3.0 channel line up you mention. If not, what are the callsigns or city?

106.1 broadcasts on KGHD-LD low-VHF 6. The others - 103.1, 108.1, 113.1, 133.1 - are all KVCW's UHF 29.

It is possible that the UHF 29 signal is configured with different modulation for 133.1 versus the others - a typical Sinclair station configuration. That would make it easier to receive that the others on the same transmitter.

If you look earlier in the thread, you will see Ned confirms very strong signals (with the exception of 106.x, which I do not care about). I see channel 29 coming in at a steady 99-100%. I don’t believe this is a signal problem.

Yes, I saw, but there is more to it than raw signal strength sometimes.

Next time you are getting 33 but not 3 and 8, try to to watch them on a PC with hdhomerun_config_gui. It will show if you can't get a lock on a PLP that carries the channel.

What else is different between 33 and 3 & 8? Resolution? 720p vs 1080p? Using wifi on the TV to connect to the hdhomerun? Is it fast enough for 720 but not 1080?

As to the other questions - 33 is broadcast in 720p, while 3 and 8 are in 1080p. All connections at my location are via wired gigabit ethernet. I'm using a pFsense router. Again, this is an intermittent problem, so could you give more details as to how it could be a network issue? If it was a network issue, I wouldn't expect it to work at all.

Also, I'm a little frustrated that it seems no one is looking at the diagnostic data I'm sending. That could alleviate some of this guesswork we're doing now.

Are you running squid on pfsense? if so try ticking "Bypass Proxy for Private Address Destination"

That looks normal. If you tick both 0 and 1 most likely all 4 channels will show data. There is a chance that PLP 0 and 1 are not compatible for concurrent tuning but most likely they are.

I do notice the tick box selections are not persistent. After I check them, if I try to tune a channel, the UI resets and the boxes are no longer checked.

However, the channels no longer report "no data" when both boxes are checked, and ONLY when both boxes are checked. They still won't tune, and the settings just go back to neither box checked.

What am I missing? Seems like it's something very simple I'm overlooking here. I looked at the pinned PLP post. Do I need to set the parameters via CLI?

113.1 and the tuning information for all channels are on PLP 0. The data for channels 103.1, 108.1, and 113.1 are on PLP 1. This is a common configuration.

I looked up the tuning information for your Device ID...
103.1 is set to initially tune PLP 0+1
108.1 is set to initially tune PLP 0+1
113.1 is set to initially tune PLP 0+1
133.1 is set to initially tune PLP 0

ie the HDHomeRun has detected the optimal tuning correctly.

There could be something else wrong with the broadcast... which channels are working and which are not?

103.1 and 108.1 haven't worked for a couple of weeks now. They used to tune in intermittently, but now I get nothing.

113.1 is encrypted.

133.1 has always come in fine.
