Nbc Washington Plus Verizon Fios

The last 3 times the caps and wizards play at the same time, the caps game has not been in the guide. I thought it was a one off, but three times in the last coupek of weeks.
I checked the tv listings app and it shows in that guide. So something must be off.

Channel 578. Game started at 9pm

This happened again tonight. Can anyone fix this? It sucks missing 2/3rds of a game because of a guide issue.

Yes 578 is the channel is was on and was supposed to be on.
576 is the main channel and 578 is the overflow. When both the Wizards and the Capitals play at the same time one is on each channel.
I don't remember having this issue before the last few months. I don't believe it happened last season.

Same thing happened again yesterday. The Wizards were on the overflow channel 578 and the Caps game was on 576, but the guide still showed off air.

Any Update?
I can see that tonight it is going to happen again.
the Hockey game starts at 7pm on the overflow channel 578
and the Basketball game starts at 7:30pm on 576.
My upcoming Recordings doesn't show the Hockey game and it doesn't show in the guide.
tvguide.com shows a show at 5:30pm-6:30pm, and 6:30pm to 7pm, then the game.

My guide just shows Sign off for every hour of the day.

Please fix this.

You may wish to report your zipcode and also check at zap2it.com. it used to be I got much faster service reporting issues to zap but with gracenote going to Nielsen and then how nextstar acquired tms, I'm not sure it would help. The only time that didn't work for me was when I had a previously (permanently) manually mapped channel then SD had to manually get rid of that map. Also when I checked a zip from my uncle with fios in the area, zap had it correct but perhaps there is info there that can help with mapping (I think I recall one was listed as Baltimore while the other was "plus" but I think DC (not obviously "Baltimore" from name) but it has been awhile since I checked)

In some cases it may also depend on how cablecard names the 2 channels (are they different)

Zap2it.com is correct. Tonight there is a G League game on 578 and it is not showing in my guide. It never says anything but Signoff. It must be a SD issue.

I'm hoping that NedS can tell from such lineup at zap as to what channel is which so that is why I suggested reporting zip code.
Sometimes (at least in the past) if the cablecard provides no distinction on the channel names it becomes a bit harder for them to map.

But I am also afraid that though zap is now Nextstar while Gracenote is now Nielsen they may not as easily line up (though NextStar does have some multiyear deal with Neilsen I'm not sure that is data)

Zap2it is still powered by Nielsen/Gracenote/TMS (Tribune Media Services). Verizon FiOS also uses the TMS data for their settop boxes, so their FiOS lineups are usually correct, including for FiOS specific edits of channels like BTN, brokered infomercial/religious channels, iNDemand PPV, and their part time 4K event channels.

For FiOS DC, SiliconDust should use the following TMS stationIds for NBC Sports Washington Plus:
78 NBCSWAP (58633)
578 NSWAPHD (69734)

I think Jason figured it out. It had the wrong listing, while I was thinking it had the right listing and maybe we weren't updating fast enough.
