Re: Recording DRM
WEDNESDAY MARCH 22ND. 2023
I THINK IT WAS COX COMMUNICATION THAT STARTED THIS ENCRYPTION, BECAUSE THEY WANTED PEOPLE TO SUB'SCRIBE TO THEIR DAB BLASTED CABLE SERVICE TO BE ABLE TO WATCH THE LOCAL CHANNELS.

Re: Recording DRM
Cox has been pretty crappy the last 6 months in my area. They are no longer competitive and as soon as AT&T finishes fiber in my area (2-3 months) they are history. They have instituted too many price jumps and no longer work with the customer to give them their best prices. They thank me for my many decades of business and that's it. No discounts.
Bye Bye!
Bye Bye!
Re: Recording DRM
Tomorrow I'll disconnect the Cox DVR box, remove the 2 cable cards from my 2 tuners and cancel tv and phone. They'll give me 1 week to return the items to them.
Gladly!

Re: Recording DRM
Finally cut the chord! Still will use HDHR for locals and I guess I can sell my 2 Primes.
Not sure if I'm allowed to say this here but if not, please remove this sentence but if anyone is interested, send a private message. Haven't even thought of what to sell these for but I'm not going back to cable so there's no use in not allowing someone else to use them for awhile.
