Support via forum vs support ticket

New Servio owner, experiencing an issue as described here:


I have received a response from someone from Silicondust in this thread, but how do I track the status and resolution of this issue?

Should I instead open a support ticket and leave the forum for how-to questions?

Generally we try to update forum threads when things are updated, but support tickets will definitely get an update and are a little more formal/specific. In this case it probably doesn't matter much since this issue has attracted the attention of both Jason and I, and we're also the ones who normally answer support tickets from the website and e-mail.

You can also click on the subscribe link in the "tool" menu of the forum thread, and you'll get an e-mail notification of new posts.
