DRM still doesn't work when utilizing the Beta on my Win 10 machines after installing the file located at the above referenced link.
I can check the logs... what is the device ID of your HDHomeRun?

They might want to try again as it took hours here before links would actually work (link to latest)... once i got the beta and did nas install, it still installed old one had to manually download/install new (direct filename trick)... now linux "link" for beta (nas install) does pick up latest file so assume things would be good.

The first several launches i had terrible picture for hockey, shut it down for a few minutes then things seemed good.

Was able to download and install the latest win10 dvr software (20190410Beta1) this morning and running it resulted in new firmware installing on both of my HDHR Primes. I am now able to view copy once DRM content on all of my Win 10 machines using the Beta Win 10 app. It does seem that it takes longer for those DRM channels to tune than it did in the past.

I've reverted back to the regular UI for now because I'm in the process of troubleshooting cablecard/TA problems with Spectrum and don't want to muddy the water. I'm looking forward to resuming use of the new UI - IF Spectrum can solve the issues I've had for over a year now - disappearing and untuneable channels. If Spectrum can't resolve it then I'll probably end up abandoning the cablecard altogether.

Still unable to play DRM channels on iOS (with early access ON or OFF). New firmware is installed on Prime.

Am able to view DRM on Win10 (with early access OFF).

Note: Running HDHR from a single disk MyCloud. Update to latest made on Win10 Nas install.

According to nickk, the NAS install will always take a release version not beta... you will have to manually install the beta on the NAS as the fix apparently required a fix to the engine.

The log is showing an AKE failure. This usually means the round trip time check is failing.

SImple test first - try uninstalling and reinstalling the beta to force it to do a full reauth.

Thank you, that worked. Can now view DRM with early access off. Still cannot with early access on.

My understanding the "fix" for the beta is the beta record engine... and since you used NAS install, it did not install the beta engine. When I upgraded, it was several hours before the "redirect" links worked so I got the files directly by name (date in name) and updated that way.

What version is your Record engine? As you noted on my FYI above mine is still dated 2018xxx. If different, SD needs to correct their instructions on Download - 20190410beta1 and/or add another step to .exe process.

I believe historically this is usually caused by a crappy SDV tuning adapter. If you have one of those, might be worth asking for a new one.

As I said, I noticed the NAS install option didn't redirect to the latest beta record engine that was said to be needed to view DRM. In another thread, nickk had mentioned that a NAS install always installs latest release not beta which makes me feel that those doing a NAS install would be out of luck unless they manually updated or used one of the NAS packages.

Thanks @signcarver...

Obviously those instructions published by SD need to be corrected...i.e., add the caveat re: single disk MyCloud MUST be updated by manual install to NAS. Note: @nickk @jasonl

20190417 is now out - the NAS Installer will install this version so you get the fix.
