No the network would have been working during that indicated down time, 8pmish on Saturday. My recording PC does have and event timer for automatic restart every morning at set for 5:58am assuming it is sitting idle. Could this daily restart be contributing to the problem?

Currently at 9:43pm all devices are working fine with a record button and dvr access. I will check overnight and in the morning.

I'm wondering why you chose to start a new thread on the exact same topic, rather than follow-up on the thread you already started, answering jasonl's last question for you: Re: DVR Not Configured - tclilly?

What you're doing is akin to insisting an auto mechanic tell you why your car won't run, over the phone, with no information at all.
ok. noted. thx.

Not the right time of day for this.

The logs from last night show the DVR computer dropping out at 12:10am CDT. It has not come back yet as of 3pm CDT. What's the current status of that DVR PC?

DVR does not show on myhdhomerun.com either..
https://prntscr.com/juqi1v

no DVR at all.

It should be noted. PLEX on this machine finds the tuners and records with no issues and shares the video outside of my network with no issues. Could Plex on the same machine cause a conflict? i do not schedule recordings at the same time but have started using this product.

Currently now after a download, repair install, and i clicked off and use this machine as dvr and pointed to the same folder again. I now have a record button again and access to the dvr.

I am honestly totally befuddled. Any ideas why this is happening so consistently.

The logs confirm the DVR is still running, but just stops being able to reach the HDHomeRun or our servers or anything on the network. Are you running any third-party firewall or security software on the PC?

Are you running any third-party firewall or security software on the PC?
Or a VPN or some other solution that claim to make it more difficult to track your online activities?

I wonder if, when the DVR disappears, you can browse the 'net from that PC, tclilly?

I have turned off the Webroot Secure Anywhere Firewall. The Windows Firewall is still active.

Best to remove it entirely. Most third-party firewalls are still running and messing with things even when "disabled". OK to leave the Windows Firewall on, it wouldn't interfere like this.
