Postby jumpmanjay » Fri Aug 19, 2016 9:59 pm

Code:
https://github.com/jumpmanjay/HDGrandSlam.bundle

Current release:
https://github.com/jumpmanjay/HDGrandSl ... s/tag/v1.6

Installation:
-Download the current release from GitHub (https://github.com/jumpmanjay/HDGrandSl ... e/v1.6.zip).
-Unzip the release zip
-Find the location of your Plex Media Server plug-in directory (https://support.plex.tv/hc/en-us/articl ... ns-folder-)
-Rename unzipped directory to "HDGrandSlam.bundle"
-Copy the HDGrandSlam.bundle folder to your Plex Media Server plug-in directory.
-Restart Plex

What works:
-Streaming and time-shifting (pause, play, rw, ff- just don't skip past live) Live TV and recorded programs to Chrome, Windows UWP, Apple, Roku, and Android devices.

*** For Android Devices ***

If your Android device does not work and gets the error, "An error occured while attempting to play this video. Please try restarting both the Plex Media Server and this app." do the following:

On your Plex server, find the file Android.xml and change the following line:

Code: Select all

<VideoProfile protocol="hls" container="mpegts" codec="h264" audioCodec="aac" context="streaming" />
to

Code: Select all

<VideoProfile protocol="hls" container="mpegts" codec="h264" audioCodec="mp3" context="streaming" />
Restart your Plex server. Thanks to zynine for the tip.

LiveTV and DVR episodes working on Chrome and certain Android devices (Nexus 9, nVidia ShieldTV).

Does not work on other Android devices (Nexus 6P, Nexus Player, Nexus 7 (2013)).

Will upload the plug-in to GitHub tomorrow, hopefully.

Verified streaming also works with the Windows UWP Plex client.

It seems like some channels are being skipped. My hdhomerun prime cable card reports 485 channels. The all channels listing reports 393 channels within a web broswer/plex session.

Can you download this:

https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B7sgj ... klwQV9wVkE

Stick it somewhere on your server (or really any device on your network that has Python 2 on it) and run it. Then share the contents of output.txt.

I think I found the issue. Give it a try again.

I'll add some relevant art for this tomorrow.

Gave this a try last night but while the guide is populated and the channels show just fine, no channels will play. I just get a black screen with the orange Plex circle showing it's trying to load. I let it load for 10 minutes before I killed it.
I do like what I see so far so a big thanks for that.

Could you share your plug-in logs?
