I found the glitch you mentioned at 17:59:40.
There was a seek request. The player correctly closed the connection to the server, then attempted a new connection to the server to request a new playback position. This connection attempt timed out after 2 seconds.
There can be interruptions to WiFi for things like scanning for WiFi access points or moving between access points.
1) 2s is short for the worst case... we will re-release the app with a longer timeout.
2) WiFi being interrupted for 2s is bad for seek performance (you shouldn't have to wait for 2s for video to play after seeking).
How many access points do you have?

Re: Fast Forwarding Issue - lenlab
Except I am connected via ethernet and NOT WIFI.
I just double checked and I am on wired Ethernet as connected via cable and also reported by my Router.

Re: Fast Forwarding Issue - lenlab
So far SD responses are a bit curious. Jason suggesting I don't have the latest app version and Nick talking about a WIFI issue when I am on ethernet. Are you looking at my diagnostics or someone else's?
Re: Fast Forwarding Issue - lenlab
The logs don't indicate if Ethernet or WiFi. Most Fire TV devices are WiFi only so we assume WiFi.
I am not sure why the connection didn't establish within 2 seconds. The problem is specific to Fire TV so it must be something the Fire OS is doing.

The Flex 4k is ethernet and sure the FireTV Stick 4k is WIFI 5G.
