Choppy video on MacOS Tahoe

Did the new update for Tahoe make the app really laggy when skipping on non-Tahoe releases? I'm still on Sequoia and when skipping (+30s or +10m) the audio starts immediately, but I'm waiting a full one-mississippi for the video to sync up and start playing. I don't have the previous app store version to compare it to, but Android TV shows immediate video when skipping. It's pretty annoying when skimming a football game, and I'm fairly certain the previous release didn't do this. Same results with 1080i or 720p ATSC 1.0 content.

Sounds like you're describing DVR functionality - can't help there. I only use the hdhomerun app for live TV. But I can confirm that the updated app (20251020) now has the janky frame issue on my older i7 (non-Tahoe) macbook airs.
