App Resets every night at 7PM
My HDHomerun App exits every evening at 7pm est. Literally like clockwork. This is on a Sony Bravia TV. Anybody else have this issue or know what causes it??

It may help to tell us what version of Android you are running and the HDHR player version.
I run the HDHR v20260826 app on my 2017 Sony 4k Smart TV running Android 9 without issue.

Good your HDHR app is up to date.
I hate to offer this advice because of the work involved......I would recommend you start by deleting and reinstalling the HDHR app. I am sure this will not fix it. I think you need to do a factory reset of the Android 12 and reinstall all your apps. Install the HDHr app first by itself and see if it still follows the same habits. If not then add all your apps. If the problem comes back then you may have an app conflict.

Does anything happen to a different device at 7PM? Like, if you were watching live TV on a smart phone or PC, does it also crash or maybe the video stops or stalls?

Cleaning off the Sony won't hurt my feelings. The only app I really run on it is HDHR since I use a Roku for everything else. I'm sure most folks know how THAT works out with the HDHR and a Roku because of Roku's API stuff.
Wife has NBC Nightly News on in the background each night and AI suggested perhaps our local affiliate changes signal types at 7 which might make something hiccup. Seems unlikely but I'm out of ideas but the 7pm daily routine is the weird part. Seriously, on the dot...poof...Bravia home screen...7:00pm. Gonna specifically try to have on another channel tonight and see if it does the same thing and prove or disprove the signal change theory.
As for other glitches...not really. Wife watches on her phone in the AM and things are fine but neither of us use phones, pc's or tablets for TV in the evenings. No stopping or stalling that I can attribute to anything other than local weather or antenna signals from time to time.
