Is there any possibility of changing guide providers? Gracenote is not doing a good job at all of keeping up with individual episode descriptions and it affects whether an episode is recorded under a season pass. If a pass is set to record new episodes, and Gracenote does not have an episode description, it will not record. Conversely, it will record all episodes if not set to new because it cannot distinguish if it's an episode that has been recorded previously. The Friends issue is ongoing on Channel 33.1 and also The Texas Bucket List on 21.1. Titan TV seems to not have an issue keeping up with episode descriptions, so this is a failure on the part of Gracenote.
