Installed Latest firmware now channels go in and out.

I got a notification to install the latest firmware when I opened the HD HomeRun app on my Roku Device. I went to my HDHomerun.local, installed it, and then my channels began going in and out. They were completely stable literally minutes before the update.

Below is my model, the firmware version that borked it, and a copy of the system log as it shows what is happening, it begins streaming, to the ip on a given port, ends the stream, then starts again on the same ip and a new port.

I don't know what it means but it is NOT supposed to do that.


Ideally I would like to revert to a previous firmware, though I dont know what my firmware was before I think it was a 2025 issued one.

Also as added information since I didnt put it in the original post.

It affects every single channel and I already updated the Roku firmware, the app was already updated for the HDHomerun, on both my Roku's
I also already rescanned my channels just to be sure.

I would just like to flash the firmware back to a previous non-problematic version, then not touch it unless I absolutely need to.

It is not possible to downgrade the firmware.

The logs from your device indicate that you receive WESH from 2 different broadcasts, the primary full-power broadcast that serves Orlando and a low-power repeater that serves Ocala. At the time the channel scan was run, the Ocala one came in with slightly higher signal quality, so it is being used, even though the signal on it is actually worse for you due to a lot of interference from other nearby stations operating on the same frequency. Tweak your antenna position a bit and run another channel scan and it might pick up the other broadcast a bit better.

Thank you Jason but that cannot be the issue alone, my antenna is forcefully stationary as in locked in place where I got the strongest and best signals upon install and has been for months, so it cannot be adjusted and changed. and as stated this occurred on ALL my channels after the firmware update immediately. I re ran my scan and got all my same channels but no improvement. it seems to only be a problem on the roku devices. On my Windows PC the windows app works fine. It seems the Roku app may need some updating for the new firmware because it's not playing nice and I already have the latest version.

This shows that it's completely stable on my Windows PC and not on the Roku. The other Roku by the way is a newer version but has the same exact problem. So it tells me it is a Roku app issue. Since the Windows App works far more stable with the new firmware.

I am by no means an expert but the Roku HDHomeRun app seems to be having far more problems than the the windows app.

the problem from my testing is directly with the roku Hdhomerun application misbehaving with the new firmware in my hdhomerun device.

The windows pc application had zero problems when i installed and tested it and kept the channels stable. This can clearly be seen in the data above where 192.168.83.246(windows pc) does not endlessly stop and start like 192.168.83.11(Roku) does.

the Roku app began misbehaving as soon as the firmware was installed and was not a problem 5 minutes prior when I was on the previous firmware.

The simple fact is, the firmware stopped playing nice with the roku as far as any of my testing can show. So I need a Roku App update to fix it(which I'm currently on the latest version)
or
I need a way to flash my firmware back to prior so I can stop having this issue on my TV's please.
