Any update on when a Linux build of 20260629 of the DVR engine will be released?

I'll ask, but I don't think there are any major changes for Linux. Some platforms will have a newer version number simply because that's the date the files were built, and some changes might be platform specific.

Thank you! So this newer build is not required to use the DVR without an always on internet connection?

The DVR's behavior has not changed. It requires regular but not constant internet access to make new recordings, while playing existing recordings works offline.
