My issue is different, Plex finds the tuner fine but any tuned channel has immense pauses and pixelization. Just like a poor signal. The signal strength is fine.
Does this mean Plex is a no go? I used Plex as a main server/viewer for years (lifetime subscription) and recently it refuses to work with my Scribe 4k. It is possible I went a long time without updating that firmware as it worked OK. HDHR native app is OK as is ****.
If it's a known incompatibility, I'll quit trying to make it work. I assume reverting back in firmware isn't an option??

Re: Flex duo atsc - Phrede
We can check the diagnostic logs from the HDHomeRun to see if the data is at least reaching the Plex server OK. Anything after that you'd have to work with Plex for.
- In a web browser go to http://hdhomerun.local
NOTE: That address will go do the first HDHomeRun device found on your network. If you have more than one HDHomeRun device, use the "device ID" printed on the bottom of the unit instead of "hdhomerun" in the address. For example, if your device ID was 104FFFFF then you would go to http://104fffff.local - Click "System Menu"
- Check the "Send diagnostic information" box (if this box is already checked, please un-check then re-check it)
- Go back one page
- Click "Channel Lineup"
- Click on "Detect Channels"
- After the scan finishes, watch something in Plex for at least 10 minutes

Re: Flex duo atsc - Phrede
When you had 5.1 going right after the scan finished, there was severe packet loss, indicating either network problems or that the receiving end was not processing the incoming data fast enough. I assume that was the Plex server. How is it connected to the network?
