Problem has been fixed and the new release has been submitted to the Microsoft Store (it is going through certification now).

You will need to restart your XBox... the new release prevents the XBox OS from getting wedged again, but it can't un-wedge the XBox OS if already wedged.

Things I noticed:
After boot to the grid, it displays "No Channels" for a couple seconds before it populates.

When pressing a number and the direct access search box appears if you press anything other than a number on the XBox remote that keyname is ennumerated in the search box. It will continue to add key presses and returns "More Results" in an empty grid

The "B" button no longer closes the app when pressed twice. Now the only way to close the app is to press the X button and the hamburger button and press quit.
