I know I have done this before, but it does not appear to be a way since the recent update(s).
Using this example:
Collector's Call on MeTV is set to record ALL EPISODES. When browsing at the upcoming episodes (only two in the next 14 days), I want to skip just the one this Sunday. Previously I recall going to TASKS, and sliding the episode left and the trash can will appear. This does not work on either model of my onn Google boxes nor on my Win10 PC. Am I doing something wrong?
Deleting single task (not series)
Re: Deleting single task (not series)
A series task will only know to skip an episode if it doesn't match the rules (channel number, new flag, etc) or if the episode already exists in the DVR's recording folder (or another HDHomeRun DVR running on another device, as they will communicate this information between them). It's not currently possible to tell the DVR to skip a specific upcoming episode, but it is something I would like to see added as well. The next time the dev team has a moment to hear some new requests, or is working on that area of the DVR, I will be sure to remind them of it and see what they think about it. This would be very useful for non-scripted content, like sports, news with specific topics/interviews that aren't interesting, etc.
