Support for the Cheaper, Crappier version of the Fire TV Stick Select

Post by zyrorl »

Hi,

I know I know... the cheaper crappier version of the Fire TV Stick Select, is cheaper and crappier. However, the VegaOS is going to be here to stay and I highly recommend porting the app where possible. This eventually will become a much larger percentage of Fire TV devices.

Pretty please, consider re-compiling/rebuilding this for VegaOS.

It's not a recompile, it would require a completely new app written from scratch. Maybe someday, but there are other priorities ahead of it.

I just got the latest Firestick and was disappointed to see HDHR not available (though not overly surprised). I only got the new one because my primary TV is Sling and the Sling app is so ungodly slow on the previous Firestick versions.

If this isn't something likely to ever come, I guess I'll just have to plug in my old fire stick when I want to watch network TV.
