To close this out: it turns out, Comcast customer service no longer has the tools to remove and re-add cable card from account. With the cold hits not working, I thus reached the end of the line. So I became a cord cutter today! I have already been playing with the Quatro for several years. While early firmware versions were horrible and resulted in poor reception, the firmware and device have been rock solid for the past couple of years. So I am not completely OTA and will not miss the broadcast fee! But i look forward to continue using my Silicondust devices. They are among the best investments I have ever made.
