Firmware 20260326 streaming audio and video incorrectly - Knocheman

Using the latest channels app on an Apple TV.

Since this firmware update there have been multiple instances where the displayed video and audio do not belong together. Going back to the guide and returning to the station corrects the problem. Also backing up in the stream corrects the problem.

System was already delivering troubleshooting data when the most recent error occurred about 10 minutes before this post.

Event repeated but audio and video were only slightly out of sync. Corrected by replaying stream.

Running the 26.4 Apple TV firmware

If the audio and video are both present then the firmware is working correctly. It is the player that synchronizes audio and video.

Try playing the same recording or the same channel on your phone, PC, Mac, etc... if it is out of sync it suggests a station issue. If it is in sync it suggests an issue specific to the player on Apple TV.
