Recording Red Dot

Post by themusj »

It seems until recently, when I unchecked a movie to record, the red dot would go away as soon as that window was closed. I find now I have to quit the HDHomeRun GUI and go back into it for it to 'refresh' so the red dot is gone. Going to a different option page like Recordings and back did not clear the red dots.

Is that the current way it operates?

Are you still seeing that now? A UI update went live today and I am seeing the red dot come and go when I add and remove a recording task.

Yes. I went to Discover, selected a movie I have set to record, went into it and de-selected record. Closed out that menu, went even to other sections like Recorded and Tasks and still the movie is marked with a red dot. --Only way I was able to get rid of it was to close the app and start it back up. Then it was gone.

Very odd. I create the recording task on Discover, go to Tasks > Upcoming and it shows up in there, go into Live TV and advance the slice guide and the red dot shows, then go back into Discover, delete the Tasks, go to Tasks > Upcoming and it appears in there for like half a second before it refreshes and the task disappears, then I go into live TV and the slice guide and go to that movie and there is no more red dot.

Just tried it again, same thing. But I'll live with it. It does go-away if I quit the application and go back-in.
