Why did you remove the channel lights?
Hi, long time user of HDHR3-cc devices. Why do the newer ones not have LEDS indicating channel tuning? Was it really worth saving a few pennies to leave us in the dark when problems happen?

Confirming the newer ones do not have tuner LEDs... we stopped doing tuner LEDs on HDHomeRun models ~9 years ago.
The change was made for HDHR5 as it enabled a new case design that is what you see in the HDHomeRun FLEX today.
When the HDHR3-CC was discontinued (the first time) the PRIME case tooling was modified in prep for a new model.
A few years later we resumed production of the HDHR3-CC model and the tooling could not be changed back.

Thank you for the prompt reply. They'll have to remove the hdhr3-cc devices and cablecards from my cold dead hands....)
