new hdhr series

I noticed the hdhr app on my onn pro boxes updated with the following What's new: "Device support update". Does this mean you are releasing a new series of hdhrs? thanks.

I thought all android/firetv devices were already supported. What does this add support for? thanks.

Restores support for Android 5.x / Fire OS 5. The release prior to this release would crash at startup on Fire OS 5 so Amazon blocked updates on Fire OS 5 of that release.
