Everything worked just fine until yesterday afternoon, at which point I suddenly lost audio when using HDHomeRun app on Roku. I have tried every audio setting on the Roku and on the TV, but I cannot get the audio back. Audio works just fine on other Roku applications.
- HDHomeRun FLEX DUO
- HDHomeRun Roku app version 110.0 build 20251208
- Roku 4801X, also tried Roku 3810X with identical results
- LG OLED65C9PUA TV, digital optical output to external DAC, but results are the same with internal speakers
Settings:
- Roku: Preferred Streaming Format | Dolby; Digital Output Format | Custom | Dolby | Dolby Digital
- TV: Sound | Additional Settings | HDMI Input Audio Format | PCM (choices are PCM or Bitstream; Bitstream produces noise)
Edit to Add: I do hear the audio when the HDHomeRun app opens, during the splash screen.

I managed to solve the problem, though I'm not sure how. It turned out to be something wrong with the TV. Once I reset the TV to "factory settings", the audio came back. After the reset, the individual audio settings remained as I indicated in my original post, so I don't know what changed.
