Can you provide a specific engine date for EOS? I will remove any versions older than that from my unsupported rpm/deb repositories just to make sure no one can install them by accident to avoid issues.

20180327 is no longer supported.
20180817 will still work.

Thanks for the details.

I have removed deb(s) and rpm(s) older than 20180817 from my (very very very) unofficial repos. I may end up saving a penny a month in my AWS S3 fees (I promise not to spend it all in one place).

FWIW, I see nothing wrong with requiring even more recent engines (7 years is forever in Internet years), especially for a product in constant development and enhancement.
