HDHomeRun UI (20250314) feedback
Re: HDHomeRun UI (20250314) feedback
Can you guys please add back what channel number the shows are being recorded from because I want to know if they're being recorded on ATSC 1.0 or 3.0 I really miss knowing what channel my shows are being recorded from. There are a lot of features that you guys are missing out on with this new interface it's still very hard to get used to I wish you would let us go back to the old interviews it was much more easier in user friendly. I don't know why you're making this like a streaming services ain't streaming service this is broadcast TV we need it back like it used to be why fix something that wasn't broken.

Re: HDHomeRun UI (20250314) feedback
I'd like to join the growing number of users requesting access to the previous HDHomeRun UI or updates getting us back to something like it. After reviewing the discussions in the forums, I wanted to summarize a few issues I’ve personally encountered with the new interface.
While I understand that the updated UI moves HDHomeRun closer to the look and feel of modern streaming services—which is a positive direction in many ways—usability and a quality experience should come first.
1. Familiarity: The classic UI felt more like using a traditional TV. I do appreciate the new ability to be able to type in a channel number directly.
2. Offline Access: I’d prefer an interface that doesn’t rely on an internet connection to operate.
3. Recording Organization: The new layout makes it harder to locate specific episodes. I record news shows regularly and created my own auto-delete function to manage them, though I believe this feature should be built into the product.
4. Timestamp Visibility: It’s difficult to see when recordings were made, which makes managing content more frustrating.
