I just purchased the Flex Duo. I have activated the DVR.
I am using the same Roku as above and am experiencing the exact same problems.
In addition, with the Roku, if I set up a program to record, is shows in the "task" that it is set-up to record, but it never does.
When it is supposed to be recording, I check the "tuner status" on hdhomerun.local and is shows both tuners inactive, when it is supposed to be recording a channel.
Otherwise, everything works great on my Nvidia Shield, Macbook Air, Samsung phone etc. Only the Roku doesn't want to "play nice".
FYI, my Roku app is Version 96.0 build 20250127

I split your post into its own thread so it won't get lost.
1) When you say the "exact same problems", can you please describe what you are experiencing. We released an new version of the app last week which fixes the crash problem the other customer was seeing.
2) Not recording - this suggests you do not have a DVR guide subscription or that it hasn't been activated. If you have a DVR guide subscription you should have received an activation code. Use the HDHomeRun app on your iPhone or Android phone to activate your DVR account (settings menu, Account).

FYI:
The DVR Activation code is the first eight characters of the string included in the DVR purchase eMail that you received.

** If I try to skip forward while watching a pre-recorded show the screen often just goes blank and the app hangs. Worse, if I back out of watching and try again, I am taken back to the beginning where I definitely want to skip forward.

** I have properly activated and used the DVR. The DVR work perfectly when I set up a tv program to watch from my NVIDIA shield. However, if I am using my Roku, if I attempt to create a recorded program, it will indicate in the "Tasks" that the program is to be recorded, however it never does.

Again, all DVR functions i.e. recording, playback etc work fine on my Nvidia Shield

As far as recording, check if task ever got set from your other apps. I won't use a roku (personal treatment from their forum moderators (trolling/doxing) across multiple web sites when their second model came out and features were removed from first model (mpeg2/dlna) after firmware update and all I did waa ask for features could be restored which years later they caved in but supported badly across models) so I can't verify but it is possible it isn't poking engine (so things set for up to the next couple of hours won't record but after that the engine should retrieve task on its own). It is also possible the "colors" of recording indicators aren't showing up as it does on other apps that can prevent engine from recording (won't record if it already has recording, won't get info to record if deleted in app with the default option of not record again)

Same problems. Also happens when skipping backwards. Makes it unusable on Roku, especially when it hangs near the end of a program and you're crossing you fingers that you can make it to the end, skipping repeatedly in 30 seconds increments without it hanging again and having to start the whole process over again.** If I try to skip forward while watching a pre-recorded show the screen often just goes blank and the app hangs. Worse, if I back out of watching and try again, I am taken back to the beginning where I definitely want to skip forward.
