I'll preface this by saying all my devices are on beta firmware.

The last few weeks the LG app has been acting a bit odd. While watching a channel with a full signal rate, it will act like it's losing the channel, but it's not - it's got a full 100% signal/symbol/whatever rate.

That's not the biggest issue though, many times when it loses connection to a channel (whether because of the above, or because the weather causes the antenna to move a bit), the screen goes black and I have no way of reconnecting to the channel unless I unplug the TV and plug it back in. Restarting the app doesn't seem to work. Every channel will just show 'blank' and if I connect via the web browser to the tuner, it won't show it even attempting to view the channel.

While using the app on a laptop, it works fine always and doesn't exhibit the above issues. I'm not sure if it's the app, the beta firmware or other?

Meh, I just ended up picking up an Apple TV 4K - not only is the UI so much faster with my video library, running it through my AV receiver upscales it :)
