Can not download the HDHomeRun App

Hi,

I am trying to download the HDHomeRun App for Windows 10/11 from the Microsoft store, but it always fails with: There has been an error. The details are:

Something went wrong. We're aware of the issue and working to fix it. Try refreshing or come back later.

Code: 0x80073CFB

So I did what you do, searched the code and Microsoft store and did the things:
Ran windows 11 updates, updated Microsoft store, Repair and Reset and Reinstalled the Microsoft Store, tryed to Run Windows Store Apps Troubleshooter, Cleared the Microsoft Store Cache, and others i don't remember right now.

This post says that the error code means: The provided package is already installed, and reinstallation of the package was blocked.

OK the app was installed with this Microsoft account on my old computer that died, is this app allowed only 1 install per account?

No. I have it installed on several Windows PCs.

Sounds like you've tried all the things. Maybe use a program like BleachBit to clean up all the windows temp install files and try again.

I tried BleachBit, it did not work but you gave me an idea not 1 per account, 1 per computer.
So then i tried Wise Program Uninstaller and it showed that it was still installed when windows 11 did not show it. Wise uninstalled it, went back to the microsoft store and the HDHomeRun app installed
