UI 2025326b showed up on my Shield tonight. Is this meant to be live yet? I posted in an earlier topic about new features in an earlier release, but I will move it here since this is live and not a new feature access issue.
I don't recall any notice of a firmware update, just suddenly a major UI change.
ETA the new UI is up on the Windows app as well. I see the App is 20240625 on Windows 11 and the Shield app is 20240801. Both have the same UI version.

The new interface hit my Shield tonight. My issue is a similar sorting one.
The new interface shows the last episode recorded as default. I have a backlog of un-viewed episodes. To get to the last viewed one I have to scroll down through a large number of previously viewed ones to find the next in sequence. In the previous interface I could set the sort by episode to highest or lowest so unwatched episodes could be at the top of the screen. I don't see a way to do that anymore.
For one of my recordings I have several seasons, and it takes checking to be sure I have seen the last one in the season I have watched to know to go to the next season. A single screen view option would make this easier.

Checking around I see an announcement on Bluesky and a reference to that in the changelog from today 3/26/2025. So not an accidental release. https://bsky.app/profile/silicondust.com
