“Unknown Channel” / “Trap Error”

Post by Dsmithpdx »

Somewhat frequently, I get an “unknown channel” error displayed. When that happens, I have to change to a few different channels before streaming works again. It seems that perhaps the device is rebooting? In the logs, I see this (and the logs are clean as though it just restarted):

Code: Select all

19700101-00:00:01 System: reset reason = trap error
19700101-00:00:01 System: E5592573 0000000B 000243B4 000227DC 0002276C 000225E4 0002276C 00022754
19700101-00:00:01 System: 00022528 00089E0C 00089DD8 0008ACE8 00089D3C 000224FC FFFFFFFF FFFFFFFF
19700101-00:00:02 System: network link 100f
19700101-00:00:02 Storage: Storage device: 500GB (WDC WD5000AACS-32ZUB0)
19700101-00:00:03 System: ip address obtained: [fe80::218:ddff:fe0a:763b]/64
19700101-00:00:03 System: ip address obtained: 192.168.50.77/24
What is causing the “trap error?” Any suggestions?
