Question about HTTP API

Besides the well-publicized command to start video streaming, is there an HTTP command equivalent to the hdhomerun_config.exe command

FFFFFFFF set /tunerN/vchannel X.Y
, i.e., just to set the tuner to the channel but without initiating a stream?

No, HTTP is always going to generate a stream (or an error).
