No updates on this? Problem still exists.

Also still experiencing this problem. It worked a couple days ago, now I’m getting the AC3 pop up and no audio.
The HDHR is useless until this is resolved.

Re: Roku HDHomeRun app v 94.0 build 20240809
I had the ac3 no audio issue on my Roku Ultra running the HDHomerun app, and was able to fix it by pressing the * button on the roku remote and setting the "Volume mode" audio leveling to "off" instead of "night". Hope this helps! I found this solution here https://community.roku.com/t5/Solving-p ... lse#M55128

The volume mode on mine says "not available" .
Problem still there. It must be a real doozy to fix since its taking so long.

Any updates available?

Between all of us here at Silicondust (and sometimes our families) we haven't been able to reproduce the issue yet, so Nick is going as far as to actually hunt down the specific affected Roku device model numbers, buy them off eBay (newest models in stores don't seem affected), and then connect them to several different TVs. If there's a solution to be had, we will find it.

The problem seems to have started with the latest update. Why not just allow a roll-back to the previous version, at least as a test.

Nothing to do with the latest app. On Roku apps as basically skins over the the Roku player... you give a URL to the Roku player and it (hopefully) plays. The app has no control over audio playing or not playing.cordcutter wrote: ↑Thu Dec 12, 2024 8:53 am The problem seems to have started with the latest update. What we did was to detect if audio was playing and show a message if it wasn't. It has no impact on audio playing.
If audio was working previous working then wither a Roku system setting has changed or a Roku OS update changed something.
We purchased a number of modern low cost Roku models testing against modernish Samsung TVs - all worked with the default settings.
We now have some older models on order from eBay.
If you are not getting audio on a available-in-stores Roku model please let me know and I will order one.
