Hello,
I am a user of HD Homerun duo in the UK and use it to receive OTA channels over freeview.
Freeview now also has hybrid streaming TV channels as well as OTA channels. More information on how this works is in the article at the following link

Are there any plans to update HD Homerun to support playback of the TV streaming channels?
Thank you

No. Accessing the Freeview OTT services requires the device be Freeview certified, and receiving certification requires implementing a variety of customer-unfriendly restrictions, which would basically result in needing a DRM system that would prevent third-party applications like Plex and Emby from working, and would prevent the recordings from the HDHomeRun DVR from being accessed by third-party apps/tools.

Is there a way we can have the option disable these channels from saving to the channel list when scanning?
They’re growing in number, with no distinction between a real channel and an iptv channel.

You could always disable channels but I'm a bit surprised it adds them when it doesn't tune them. But I seem to recall there was another issue several years back where "part time" channels wouldn't get added so I think they may have changed that behavior.

Yes, the timeshared and streaming channels have similar appearances in the broadcast data, so filtering them isn't currently possible. Disabling them is the best option. They should all be in the 250-300 range, except for the handful of kids channels (207, 209-213).
