FireTV Stick app crashes on startup

I have a firetv stick that I am also trying out (all 3 tv's have Android TV and work fine), it's a FireTV Stick 4K, not sure which gen it is. When I open the app, it opens, sees the Flex4K, goes to a black screen like it's attempting to tune a channel, and then crashes back out to the main screen of the FireTV Stick.

I have cleared cache & data for the app, enabled the Location and Storage permissions, and even uninstalled and reinstalled the app as well as restarted the firetv stick. Same problem keeps happening...

Any ideas?

I'm not entirely sure, as I stated, I uninstalled the app from the device and reinstalled it from the app store on the firetv stick. It *should* be the latest in that situation, right?

Yes, an install from the app store is going to be the latest. People sometimes sideload the app on Fire Sticks due to delays in Amazon approval, so just making sure.

Can you disable whatever the first channel is in your HDHomeRun's channel lineup, clear the cache and data for the app, then open it again and see if it still crashes?
