Video freezes after a second on 1080i on Android TV

Using my connect Quatro today as my Spectrum setup with Primes is down (another post to come). After tuning to a 1080i channel, the video freezes (audio continues) after a second or so. App 20240801 and UI 20240903. Video quality is set to LOW, tried Early access to new feature of both ON and OFF. Any advice or is this a bug?

I'm one of the few out there with a TVision HUB v2.

I also own a TVision Hub v2 and it is indeed frozen on 1080i channels, in my case from my Flex 4K ASTC 1.0 1080i stations. It looks like it is the only Android TV device I have that is using software MPEG2 decoding in HDHR app. So looks like software MPEG2 decoding is the problem.
