No devices detected on IOS app

Post by bengalman »

New here but long time Homerun user. Currently on my second tuner because my first one just suddenly crapped out and wouldn't stay powered. So the new one installed just fine and everything was working via plex and on my phone but suddenly on the ios app it tells me "no devices detected". I have rescanned several times and reinstalled the app as well on my phone. Hitting retry endlessly does nothing. Any ideas TIA

What is the device ID listed on the label on the bottom of the HDHomeRun?

What does the network LED on the back of the HDHomeRun show?

From the iPhone, can you reach the HDHomeRun's web page at http://192.168.50.210/ ?

If you check the wifi settings for the iPhone, does it also have an IP address that starts with 192.168.50?

So I tried another App on the App Store and it works perfectly. So it appears to be the HD home run app that is flawed.

Same two questions as before:

From the iPhone, can you reach the HDHomeRun's web page at http://192.168.50.210/ ?

If you check the wifi settings for the iPhone, does it also have an IP address that starts with 192.168.50?
