OK. What's going on? Program keeps jumping back to earlier cache. Win 10 Comcast.

Updating to early access fixed it.

Early access would make no difference as there isn't currently a difference between the normal and early access.

This behavior usually indicates that you have a DVR running and there is something is going wrong when it's trying to write to the recording drive. If the DVR is on Windows, it's often a third-party antivirus or antimalware program doing a bad job of trying to scan the data. Otherwise, it can occur if something is maxing out the CPU or hitting the drive extremely hard, if the drive is dying, or if the drive is something that isn't suited for DVR use like a flash drive or crappy low end SSD.

DVR is a QNAP NAS with a terabyte of storage. It has been updated.
