2nd HDHomeRun Prime

Hello all,

I have a second HDHomeRun Prime sitting in the box that it came in waiting in the event my original dies. I'd like to put it to use. I have a Tivo in my bedroom that NEVER gets used. Can I pull the cable card out of the Tivo and put it into the second HDHomeRun Prime and will it just work? Would I have to re-pair the cable card thru Xfinity? I'm hoping it would just work as dealing with Xfinity/Comcast is a PITA, especially with cable cards.

You should ALWAYS get the card properly paired but with most areas of comcast using moto/arris cards, typically you will get all but the premium copy once channels without it being properly/fully paired in such markets but such can eventually cause other issues. In cisco/sa/technicolor markets I would more strongly suggest getting such properly/fully paired as you often wont get anything..
