Using the Windows 10 HDHomerun app, playback is very choppy and will freeze all together at times. It's not consistent, but it happens about 70% of the days I use the app. This is both on my wired internet Desktop PC and my wireless Surface Pro. Sometimes if I tune into the standard definition version of the channel, the playback isn't as choppy, but sometimes it still does it. I find this happens most frequently with sports channels. Signal strength is very good according to diagnostics.
Playback works flawlessly on the HDHomerun app on my Firesticks and my Android phone, which are both on wireless. Never had an issue with these.
Are there any settings I may need to tweak in Windows or the app to get it to stop doing this?
Thanks!

Anyone else have this issue? Thanks.
Re: Windows 10 Playback Choppy and Stops
Did you try resting the app? Right click the homerun app > more > app settings > reset.
That helps when I have problems with the app.

Re: Windows 10 Playback Choppy and Stops
Can you please turn on "send diagnostic information" in the settings menu of the HDHomeRun app then post back with the Device ID of your HDHomeRun.

The log shows a problem with the Windows system not accepting data fast enough. This is most commonly caused by third party security software.
1) For testing can you please run HDHomeRun Setup on your Windows PC and untick "use this PC for recordings" on the DVR tab.
2) Are you using any third party security software (ie other than Windows Defender / Windows Firewall)?

2) I do not have anything other than Windows Defender.
Played fine for about 10 minutes then froze on me just now watching NCAA tournament on CBS.
