Freezing/Signal Corruption on HD H.264 channels

Post by Browneye »

Hello,

I sent this fault in a while ago now, and there has been no fix for it.

On Windows the HD Homerun software freezes on HD H.264 channels in Australia. Trying to watch the AFC Championship game on 7Mate and it freezes within seconds of tuning.

Only on HD H.264 channels. Also does it on Nine HD and Ten HD.

Something's broke in your decoder? Does it not like long GOP streams? or VBR streams??

It is Windows decoding the video, typically by handing it off to the GPU to decode.

First thing is to install the latest video drivers from the AMD/Intel/Nvidia website.
