Just updated my Synology DS118 to DSM 7.1.1-42962 Update 3.
HDHomeRunDVR is definitely running, but HDHomeRun software can't find the DVR. I have rebooted the Synology NAS twice. everything was running fine until the DSM update. Any ideas? Thanks

You were probably running the tmp directory fix before, and that resets when the Synology reboots. You can install the new SPK and move the recordings over to the HDHomeRun share (or change the recording directory, but don't forget to fix permissions if you do that): https://info.hdhomerun.com/info/dvr:nas ... omerun_dvr

Just like to confirm that the DVR feature is working on my Synology Disk Station once again and I had to do nothing. I can only guess some automatic updates fixed the issue.
To the extent that HD HomeRun worked to get this fixed, I cannot thank you enough. The DVR feature which gives me nearly unlimited recording possiblities on the Disk Station was a key feature that was hard to live without. I was considering canceling the $35 a year DVR feature if that was not going to work anymore, but now I'll continue with the subscription, and once again, thank you HD HomeRun!!!
