Does WebOs app support drm on LG tv?

Hooked up a new LG WebOs Smart Tv and downloaded the Hdhomerun app. When I select a protected channel the screen goes blank. There is no content protection message, the screen remains blank until you select the menu. Is it like FireTV and does not support drm?

Unfortunately LG does not support DTCP-IP protected content required for playing protected channels from CableCARD.

Windows 10/11 works, as well as XBox One, Android, Android TV, and iOS.

We are looking into the possibility of adding support to newer generation Fire TV devices and Apple TV.
