@bluehawk: You post very frequently about your status of channels & then mention Windows 10 PC and Nvidia Shield. Is that just the HDHomeRun app on your PC? What app is on the Nvidia Shield to view these videos? I don't have a Shield but DO have a FireTV Cube 4k. What I'm trying to do is is gather evidence that it will be a worthwhile upgrade for me to buy the Flex 4k. I'm in the Phoenix area and currently record only on linux using mythtv and NextPVR. I use a Windows VM only to "setup" or verify my various HDHomeRun tuners.

The forum won't let me send you a PM because i just recently enrolled and apparently need to have some posts entered first.

In this forum we have been blessed to have real experts with regards to ATSC 3.0 such as BobChase and SignCarver. I am just a user that has been a fanboy of the SiliconDust products since the beginning. I track the ATSC 3.0 channels that I can receive using the HDhomerun App using a Windows 10 PC, and an Nvidia Shield. For quite awhile the ATSC 3.0 channels used to come and go often, but in the past few months things have been a lot more stable. Fox on 110.1 seems to have audio problems sometimes other than that most channels seem pretty stable. BobChase described how the stations compress and de-compress the information many times that at this time might not give you any better picture then you have with ATSC 1.0. Most all of my TV viewing is recorded ATSC 1.0, except for sports, using Plex or HDhomerun App using MCEBuddy to remove commercials. I personally want to support in a small way companies like SiliconDust that over the years have simplified and enhanced my tv viewing experience. I have participated in all of their kickstarters, and over the years have purchased their products to support their activities. So if you have a use for a new tuner I would say buy it if for no other reason to show your support for SiliconDust.

For the past few days I have not been able to receive the channels on 27. My HD Homre Run Config GUI gives the following information: (1) Physical channel atsc 3 27, (2) PLPO gpsk is green, (3) Signal strength is 86% and green, (4) Signal quality is 100% and is green and (4) Symbol quality rapidly goes from zero to 100% so it goes from blank to green back to blank etc. Cannot get a lock on any of the channels on 27. Is the problem at my end? (Everything else is coming in including the channels on 35.)

Univision has taken back control of KFPH. They've installed new encoders, ROUTE encapsulation, and a gateway. One additional (redundant) channel is up KFPH*Mv 35.11 which is a 1/4 HD version of KFPH for a future mobile PLP.

To receive the RF35 channels, you probably have to do a rescan as all Route ID's and stream IP's have changed with the new equipment. Unfortunately, I did the rescan to pick up 35.11 before launching the viewer so I'm just guessing here.
