Since actual Recordings don't seem to stutter, are you wanting like a phone video of the tv playing live?

As he stated, he wants the real recording... they will replay it as a live broadcast in their test environment rather than as a recording.

Ok I'm running into an issue on the Apple TV

So the file would be small, I'm just going to a channel and clicking on the red circle Record button from the on screen menu. It lights up. Then I roll 5 or so minutes. Then I click it again and the red light goes off.

Nothing records.

When I repeat the same steps on PC, it records like I expect. But it does not on the Apple TV.

Should the record button not record?

I would never expect such to record even on windows/android as the ui used to bring up the program so you could set up a task that could record it that was quite distracting, not actually record it by pressing that button. (Yes I know they changed that long ago)

However the fix may be as simple as needing the Apple TV to poke the engine so it can get its orders... do you see such as a task created if set such with an apple tv and then check the tasks list with something else?

Pressing the record button on the action-bar/live-TV should record the current program until that program ends.

Alternatively, use these instructions to make the sample: https://info.hdhomerun.com/info/trouble ... g_a_sample

You would never expect the presented record button to record? Is it crazy that I *do* expect a record button to record?

While you are chewing on my upload, I've done some A B tests with the Apple TV HDHR app and the LGTV HDHR app.

The LG app hands down looks ways better on live tv. No stutter whatsoever. So as I've guessed it's the Apple TV side of things throwing a wrench in the works. The only thing I can think to change is the ATV Match Frame Rate setting, which was always set to ON.

I changed it to OFF. No difference. Still have stuttering on live tv.

I don't' know what the issue could be.

Thanks!
