I've seen nothing new in either the Google Play store or the Microsoft store either. Still on app version 20210505 here.

The Windows 10 app is in App Store review now.
The Android and Apple apps will be submitted tomorrow.

As an added bonus the new handling means a perfectly smooth transition back and forth between 5.1 and stereo.

No more audio cutouts during commercials? That would be a welcomed fix!

Came here to report the same stuttering issue, glad it's sorted out and looking forward to the update.

I assumed this was my A/V receiver causing the audio issue. This is the greatest "added bonus" ever, if it works. Looking forward to it on my Nvidia Shields!

Android?

The audio will still switch back and forth between 2 channel and 5.1 channel as needed so it still depends on how your A/V receiver handles switching channel count. If you heard an audio glitch it was most likely your A/V receiver changing modes and that will still happen.

There are no lost or added samples so if the video will be perfectly smooth across the transition.

I'm still seeing slight video stuttering on 20210512, although it appears to be much improved. The audio dropout switching between stereo and 5.1 seems to be gone for me.

Also, the provided link is still pointing to 20210503.

That's strange. I have the latest version after manually installing it from that link.

I just put the android app to the google play store for review (BETA) on May 13.
If you are in the beta test group look out for that (20210512).

So far the update appears to have fixed the stuttering for me. Only had it running on 1 Shield so far but running all day on 1 channel and no noticeable stutter and AV Sync is good. I will try my other devices later this evening but I appreciate this fix.

Please don't break anything again! ;)
