DRM Recording

Post by Beerman »

Yes, I'm asking the question that should not be questioned....again. Now that Cox has done to most of the country that a number of the others companies have done long ago, I'm curious how things are going for getting DRM recording on ANY device. Can we get what Silicon thinks might be a likely date? Even if it's just, "we'd like to have this done by..."?
I doubt I will be able to go much longer than summer without making a decision on whether to keep what I have going on dumped it all, argue with Cox about cancelling my contract, killing TV and phone and just keeping internet and grab something like youtube tv or Sling. If it weren't that cable cards are dying, I'd hang on and I love what Silicon offers and it has done me well but, it's just not gonna work if I can't record tv.
