installed this on my 2018 55" LG 3D TV. Seems to work just fine. If I had to point out an issue, it takes about 5 sec or longer before sound starts on first launch or when changing channels. That is using the internal speakers. I also had an issue using the LG Remote, but I probably just need to spend some time with it to figure it out.

What do iPhones and iPads have to do with this LG app? It almost sounds like it's a requirement to have one of those devices to use it.

I should specify that these are two separate issues. The channels with audio and no video are not DRM.

Hello,

I am unable to start the application on 2020 LG CX. I get the following error:

using webos api
Error while trying to discover devices: TypeError: Cannot read property 'length' of null

Can anyone confirm if they got it to play on CX 2020? My device is on the same network.

you will not be able to get the HDhomerun on our UK models. Each model is set to the region it is to be sold in, and will only ever find the Apps corresponding to this setting

I needed a new tv last month and looked at some LG's but the Samsungs were just so much better IMO. I wish Samsung would get back in the game.
It's so cool that HDHR can be integrated with some tv's. I'm jealous!

How do I access the Channel Guide? I managed to get it to come up once on the right side of the screen. How or can I change the guide layout so that it uses the full screen width and not the strip I saw down the right hand side.

Can't see this in the store (I'm in Aus) - did you only release this in the US?

I have a HD Homerun tuner with a cable card. I do have nvidia shields with the HDHomerun app on other TVs. I updated the app recently on my Shields and now have access to DRM channels.

I downloaded the HD app on my LG tv from the content store. The LG app worked great, but the DRM channels are not available - just black screen with no video or audio. How can I get the DRM channels on the LG HD App?

Same here DRM channels just black screen and no audio, non DRM channels work.
