Is Batch 1 still on track for early August delivery? August is almost here, and I haven't received the Kickstarter survey (for my shipping info) yet.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: HDHomeRun QUATRO 4K for ATSC 3.0
They never said early August... just implied that there will be two batches in August with early supporters shipped first. I would not expect any survey before August and wouldn't expect any other update until actually beginning to ship or the end of August starts coming around if there have been other delays.

You all need to chill out. They will provide information when they are ready to provide it. Bitching and crying in the wind isn't doing anyone any good.

Portland, Oregon just went live with their 3.0 rollout.... Looking forward to hardware shipping!
Despite the delay, I'm happy the bugs are getting worked out!

No WIFI that is for me worthless, I don't have in my living room cable internet connection as most people.
Re: HDHomeRun QUATRO 4K for ATSC 3.0
I don't know what a "living room cable internet connection" is, but most people can place the HDHomeRun next to their router (in whatever room it might be in) and either use an indoor TV antenna, or run a coaxial connection to their outdoor TV antenna through a single wall. Most internet connections have to come from outside, so it's pretty common to find the router/modem in a logical place for connecting to an antenna.
Re: HDHomeRun QUATRO 4K for ATSC 3.0
The trick is you plug the HDHomeRun into your home router or home network, then watch TV on your Wifi connected devices via your existing Wifi network.
Wifi is good for Ethernet to Wifi and good for Wifi to Ethernet like this. You generally want to avoid Wifi to Wifi as this requires every packet to be repeated by the AP which halves your Wifi bandwidth.

Re: HDHomeRun QUATRO 4K for ATSC 3.0
As Ned and Nick have stated if you can connect the HDHOMERUN to the router and if you have a good WIFI signal to your TV you should be fine - use WIFI AC not anything older for good results watching HD content. If your TV is not in a location with good WIFI signal but near a coax connection there are ways to use your COAX and run an ethernet connection through it using MOCA Adapters if needed as well. So there is likely a fix for your particular scenario.NedS wrote: ↑Mon Aug 03, 2020 7:40 amI don't know what a "living room cable internet connection" is, but most people can place the HDHomeRun next to their router (in whatever room it might be in) and either use an indoor TV antenna, or run a coaxial connection to their outdoor TV antenna through a single wall. Re: HDHomeRun QUATRO 4K for ATSC 3.0
I paid $199 for the Kickstarter Apr 24th. I need to update my shipping address because I moved July 31. I sent Nick a message on Kickstarter several days ago and got no reply. How can I update my shipping address?
Thanks

Re: HDHomeRun QUATRO 4K for ATSC 3.0
That is why surveys for shipping address don't get sent out until the "last minute"
Re: HDHomeRun QUATRO 4K for ATSC 3.0
We will send out what Kickstarter calls a "survey" that will ask for your preferred shipping address once the units have shipped from Taiwan, and that will be the address we will use.
